Get to Know Us
Formed in the vibrant cultural backdrop of the San Francisco Bay Area in 1992, Gold Dead began as the Fillmore Brothers. Founded by siblings Connie and Myles McCarron along with Mark Fremont, the band set out to pay homage to the legends of rock and blues. Gold Dead's repertoire celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and other icons like the Butterfield Blues Band, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Moby Grape, and the Allman Brothers, blending it with their unique flavor of classic and country rock.
